Dear Commitment,

My boyfriend is cheap! Everytime we go out, he seems angry when I order a dinner that cost him more than $10.00. My  mother says it means if I marry him, he will never let me spend what I want. I do love him otherwise, and he is a very responsible and kind man. Should I stay with him? Is my Mom right? Thanks.
